The heavy autumn rains leaked in through the cracks in the floor and under the doors. The rising water almost destroyed the band's entire rehearsal space. Later, as the dehumidifiers hummed, another sound began to emerge – the unexpected experience was turning into music.
DRUG DOG’s latest release, "Big Rain", was recorded right where it was born, at 22-Pistepirkko’s Altai Studio, engineered by Teemu Korpipää. The song, which starts with a bare and intense feel, ends in a gritty sound storm. In the end, however, the survivor makes it through the storm and insists to be happy.
Already giving listeners goosebumps ahead of its release, "Big Rain" hits digital streaming platforms on October 9. To the delight of vinyl enthusiasts, the track is also available on a 7-inch single released by BLUE BEAR Records, together with the song "Rosie Rose".
DRUG DOG will celebrate the release live the very next day, October 10, at Lepakkomies in Helsinki.
