Belgian death metal band CARNAL DESECRATION will release their new album "Ancient Malediction" on October 15th, 2026 through french legendary THRASH Records. The album will be available in digital format, LP and CD.
Hailing from Antwerp, Carnal Desecration formed in 2018 and bring together former members of the Belgian underground scene. The band’s sound is rooted in death metal, with touches of black and thrash metal, built around aggression, sharp riffs and darker melodic parts.
After releasing a self-titled three-song EP in 2020, Carnal Desecration followed with their first full-length album, "Sacrificial Death", in 2022. The band have also brought their death metal to the stage alongside acts such as Skeletal Remains, Incantation, Asphyx, Carnation, Bodyfarm and Autophagy.
With "Ancient Malediction", Carnal Desecration return with nine new tracks recorded at BreezeInc Studio. The album pushes the band further into heavier and faster territory, with sharper riffs, stronger grooves and more developed songwriting, while keeping close to their uncompromising death metal roots. The album was produced and mixed by Bob Briessinck and mastered by Yarne Heylen at Project Zero Studio.
