Multi-genre project POINT MORT unveils a turbulent new clip from their forthcoming album : “Skinned Teeth”.

Parisian metal/post-hardcore band POINT MORT present a second track from their new album “Le point de non-retour” - due for release on April 25, 2025 via Almost Famous Records. “Skinned Teeth” literally goes off in all directions, in the style of 90s riot bands.

The unique and intriguing universe of Parisian postcore outfit POINT MORT is made up of pop, rock, electro and hip hop, all bound together by a hardcore, raw, percussive energy. The result is intense, chaotic and vulnerable.
The new “Skinned Teeth” video highlights the band's assertive punk side, as well as their propensity for breaking teeth. Directed by Jessica Salitra and Damien Hubert, it was released on February 27, 2025.

POINT MORT's new album “Le point de non-retour” ("The Point Of No Return") highlights this bold yet masterful blend of styles. The play of contrasts, the rhythmic breaks and the range of vocal techniques used underline obscure themes echoing the particularities of black metal. It was recorded and mixed by Amaury Sauvé at The Apiary studio in Laval, and mastered by Thibault Chaumont of Deviant Lab in Saint Benoit. Point Mort's new album “Le point de non-retour” is released on April 25 on vinyl, CD, streaming and download via Almost Famous (Baco Distrib).

Parisian postcore quintet POINT MORT surprise with their extreme sensitivity, delivered abruptly and instinctively. In 2017, the band entered Midilive studio in Villetaneuse (the mythical former Vogue records studio) to record in one day the 5 tracks of their first EP, the sinuous and labyrinthine “Look at the Sky”, mixed by Sylvain Biguet, and mastered by Nick Zampiello at Studio New Alliance East (Cambridge, USA). This first approach to the studio defines the modus operandi of the project, which will henceforth privilege this form of sincerity and urgency.
In 2019, strengthened by this first experience without a net, POINT MORT releases a second EP “R(h)ope” with Amaury Sauvé on production and Thibault Chaumont on mastering. A worldwide pandemic later, the band returned to the studio, still under the aegis of the Sauvé/Chaumont duo, and never left. Driven once again by the demands of live recording, POINT MORT released their debut album “Pointless...” in April 2022. This album seals a personality that has now come into its own, a personality that dares to clash styles and techniques in a coherent manner.
Devastating on stage, the five musicians surprise with their sober, uncompromising performances, where emotion finds an unexpected path between two teeth-breaking performances. Their undeniable stage presence has earned them access to the prestigious stages of Hellfest (Valley, 2022) and Motocultor (Main Stage, 2017), as well as the Cuban club circuit on the Brutal Fest Tour in 2018.
The band is currently working on the release of its second album, “Le point de non-retour”, due out on April 25, 2025 via Almost Famous.
