TOTAL MANIAC - Gutter dwellin' Rock n Roll from Baltimore, MD/USA ! New album out on March 27 !
With "Love Overdrive", TOTAL MANIAC has raised the bar even higher! The quintet's music can shift from gut-wrenching thrash to sleazy hard rock, from menacing d-beat to anthemic choruses. Capturing the wild energy and irreverent humor of their live shows and packed with their strongest and most memorable songs to date, the album is sure to grab the attention of metalheads and open even more doors for the band!
Formed in 2018 by members of Nux Vomica, Deathammer, and Raw Filth who wanted to create a sound halfway between their love of 80s metal and the arrogance of rock ‘n’ roll with a touch of punk. After months of touring and developing their style, they were compared to classic bands sharing the same influences, such as Motörhead and Venom, with their self-produced demo in 2019.
After a few lineup changes and more prestigious gigs opening for BAT, Poison Ruin, and a spot at Maryland Deathfest, they released their self-titled debut album in 2022. Total Maniac sets itself apart from its contemporaries by not giving a damn about fitting into a narrow mold.
Several other high-profile concerts, festivals, and DIY tours followed. It's not uncommon to see them on a big stage opening for major metal bands such as Midnight or Sodom one night, then in a crowded, smoky bar alongside crust punk bands the next month.
Their extravagant performances and varied musical influences have earned them the interest of different scenes.
"Love Overdrive" will be available on 12" vinyl LP and digital formats - out March 27th !

Born 1969, grew up with the NWOBHM sounds, musically educated with cult french magazines that were ENFER and METAL ATTACK, definitely nailed to the style when "The Number Of The Beast" by IRON MAIDEN was released... From 1982, it was clear life would never be the same ! Young & getting wild to the HEAVY sounds of SAXON, VENOM, BLACK SABBATH, MOTORHEAD, Young Fab also discovered thanks to school mates the NOISE, FILTH & FURY of Hard-Core/Punk bands like G.B.H, DISCHARGE, BROKEN BONES but also CRO-MAGS, BAD BRAINS, FUGAZI... and later on, through the 90's, everything that was ALTERNATIVE, EXPERIMENTAL, GRUNGE, INDUSTRIAL (SONIC YOUTH, NINE INCH NAILS, SOUDGARDEN, ALICE IN CHAINS)...
Passion & curiosity grew up as years went by ... Fate was SEALED... no turning back !
