“Violence Breeds Violence”, the debut album from the project SPLIT, is OUT since October 10, 2025.
Consisting of 7 tracks, this album lays the foundations of a dark and brutal universe, introducing the band into the landscape of French extreme music.
Violent, committed, and immersive, “Violence Breeds Violence” is a sonic manifesto that plunges the listener into a dark, raw, hardcore universe with no concessions. Each track is a scream, a direct assault against social injustices, inner demons, and the harsh reality of a decaying world.
The poignant lyrics tackle powerful themes: domestic violence, police brutality, precarity, depression, addiction, death. Hardcore is a music of struggle – and this album embodies that fight.
Conceived as a first uppercut to present SPLIT to both audiences and professionals, the album serves as a cathartic outlet – a controlled explosion where rage, urgency, pain, and a hope for redemption intertwine.
