FACADA "Truculence" 2025

- Label: BLACK HOLE Productions & LAJA Records
- Release Date: 10.10.2025
FACADA’s Truculence is a direct, no-nonsense blast of Brazilian grindcore that channels the heavy, modern intensity of Napalm Death around their "Smear Campaign" and "Time Waits for No Slave" eras, mixed with the crushing, relentless groove of Terrorizer.
Instead of hiding behind sterile studio tricks, the band delivers a raw and straightforward sound that keeps its focus entirely on organic heaviness. The guitar work expertly blends jagged crust riffs with relentless, driving blast beats, sharing the fierce sociopolitical edge of bands like Doom and Disrupt, while maintaining an ironclad grip on speed and impact.
The vocal performance is an aggressive, non-stop assault of deep growls and frantic shrieks that cut straight through the wall of noise without missing a beat. Every track on the album is short, fast, and structured to hit with the same direct, concussive force found in landmark extreme releases by Nasum or Lock Up.
Beyond the pure speed, the songwriting maintains a sharp sense of dynamics, shifting effortlessly between thrashing punk breaks and suffocating wall-of-sound sections that keep the listener constantly on edge.
It is a solid, hard-hitting release that gets straight to the point without wasting a single second, giving you zero room to catch your breath from the opening track to the final chord. Truculence proves that modern underground grindcore still knows how to deliver pure, unadulterated weight while keeping its roots deeply planted in DIY punk ethics, fierce social commentary, and relentless energy.
